Prairie Installment

This prairie was sown to naturalize a large residential property utilizing ‘Yellow Tag Source’ identified local genotype seed provided by Spence Restoration Nursery. Germination was excellent, resulting in a highly successful planting in both density and diversity of plants.

This prairie was installed using a Truax No-Till Seed Drill. These native prairie wildflower and grasses are in their fourth growing season.
